We are looking for an IT software engineer to bull develop analytics and optimisation tools leveraging the capabilities of the Aqua platform bull interact with front office users to understand requirements and propose new solutions bull collaborate within the aqua high-performing, delivery-focussed core platform team bull be part of a strategic programme Your team You will be working in the Front Office Technology team, aligned with the Aqua Front Office Strats, and working closely with Front Office traders. Together you will work to deliver advanced analytics and automation tools for the derivatives business across all asset classes. The team is highly motivated and is part of a global multi-discipline team and consists of data quants, business analysts, software engineers and some of the bank's best technologists. Your expertise bull four year bachelors degree or the international equivalent in computer science, math, physics, engineering or a related field bull knowledge, understanding and experience of Python programming language bull HTML5 GUI development on a modern framework like React, Angular or Vue bull large-scale enterprise, object-oriented design and hands-on experience in building distributed systems bull functional object-oriented programming bull experience with service oriented solutions bull experience with Distributed version control systems bull Agilelean development processes bull testing (Unit, System, Integration, UAT, Performance, Stability) bull experience in developing software in a fast paced IB FO environment bull proven ability to communicate with FO users bull track record of delivering production grade tools to FO desks bull have the ability to work closely with business partners, as part of a global team bull experience with other languages like C++, Java and C. bull cloud Experience (AZURE preferred), Kubernetes, Microservices bull knowledge of derivatives (FX, Rates, Credit, Commodities, Equities) and risk calculation (TV, Greeks, PnL) bull understanding of statistics, quantitative methods, and mathematical models for derivatives products. bull experience in DevOps bull enjoy logical problem-solving tasks bull passionate about what you do, you value excellence, learning and integrity bull enjoy a work environment that places emphasis on teamwork, collaboration and delivering business value while working at a sustainable pace bull a self-sufficient, quick learner, who can work well both independently as well as in a team bull an excellent communicator, strong written and verbal communication skills in English About us Expert advice.
