Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer (React/Java)
This role will be part of J.P. Morgan's global technology team supporting Digital Investment Banking and aims to rapidly create products to improve business efficiency, generate new insights to drive client discussion and eventually support new revenue generation. The individual will work in partnership with product managers, business analysts, UI/UX engineers, data engineers & software engineers across the globe spanning multiple skillsets and backgrounds. As an experienced member of our Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
Must have 7 plus years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer with experience working with React and either Java, Python, or NodeJS. Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
Advanced knowledge of architecture, design across all systems.
Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages: Advanced knowledge of Java, including Spring/Springboot, or Python is ok. Strong knowledge of JavaScript, services, microservices, RESTExperience with Oracle RDMS, Linux/Unix, AP
Is, Messaging, Caching, Public and Private Cloud environments. Experience with web UI and frameworks like React or Angular.
Knowledge of risk and PNL reporting is desirable.
Hands-on experience designing and building large scale web/desktop and mobile platforms which are systems of record. Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices Keen understanding of financial control and budget management.
