Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement product features including reusable components, frameworks and libraries in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders Work very closely with architecture groups and drive solutions Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed Works with less structured, more complex issues. RequiredQualifications 5 years in software engineering with demonstrated success designing and building high-quality, commercial SaaS products, hosted in the cloud using Microsoft Azure Full-stack development experience with ASP.Net, C, Angular.io, and Microsoft SQL Server Experience with Git version control system Demonstrating ownership across the entire Software Development Life Cycle and seeing features through their deployment to end users Experience operating in a fast-paced, dynamically changing Agile environment and ability to deal with ambiguity
PreferredQualifications Bachelors or Masters Degree Experience developing for a microservices-based architecture Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform Experience operating in a continuous delivery environment Experience in the health care industry Technology Careers with Optum.
