PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION As a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in providing detailed technical information to EU digital Product and platform teams. You are expected to operate independently and take initiative within your area of responsibility as well as in other areas where an opportunity for improvement exists. Be able to think out of the box and proactively look for future needs and work to get ahead of potential issues or requirements. You must also be a self-starter needing minimal guidance, keen to learn and experiment with new technologies, be able to work independently and as a team player PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Develop & design architectural concepts with working prototype backing. Assist with Solution Design estimation process in collaboration with Digital Ops Business Analysts and IT Product/Platform Delivery Managers Consult on the AEF process Be able to articulate high level solution architecture and go through technical deep dives. Build solutions and test in a lab environment to demo/showcase to IT and business. Provide Guidance on Existing Standards, Systems, and Documentation by developing tech notes, solution guides, white papers and best practice guides etc. Develop and deliver competitive positioning strategies and answer specific questions relative to platform/solution area. Review Solution Design and Architecture Quality Provide Security & Performance Consultation . Work closely with Product Management in understanding product capabilities and for providing any product feedback for future improvements. Interface and consult with Business partners. Communicate and Provide a High-Level Assessment of Delivery Risks


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline and typically 6 to 8 years in solid, diverse experience in IT or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Excellent and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated leadership ability. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising sound judgment informed by data and critical analysis. Demonstrated experience across a broad range of digital technologies and platforms. Preferred  Skills: Experience working with deployment and orchestration technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes, Open
Stack, Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, Jenkins). AZURE Certifications Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as encryption, certificates and key management.
