The SEO Manager is responsible for reporting, ad hoc SEO deliverables, performance trending, and opportunity analysis for the in-house SEO program. The role requires deep understanding of SEO and the tools, principles, and best practices required for best-in-class search programs. Your data-backed contextual insights, subject matter expert knowledge, and ability to map data insights to actionable recommendations are a key part of the team's success. You will use performance metrics, as well as competitive and gap analysis to tell the story of how natural search is doing: where we are today and where we can go tomorrow.

Responsibilities

Assist the team in executing the holistic SEO roadmap to expand T-Mobile's organic search presence and rankings across Google, YouTube, Bing and other social platforms.
Perform regular data analysis of T-Mobile properties to report performance, conduct topic research, establish benchmarks, and competitive landscape.
Provide SEO recommendations for new content launches and campaigns, as well as monitor performance of in-market content and provide optimization recommendations.
Work cross-functionally on all aspects of SEO including keyword research, analytics, content strategy, and implementation of technical SEO tactics.
Align with business owners, paid search, and campaign managers to continually optimize content, performance, and rankings across T-Mobile properties.
Use research to define areas of opportunity for organic growth and to improve site and rank visibility.
Develop relevant and consistent reporting and data visualizations to support business conversations and decision.

Qualifications

5+ years proven track record in managing SEO projects from inception to completion for large scale e-commerce or content marketing sites.
Ability to manage multiple projects in highly-matrixed organizations, often with competing priorities
Comfortable with change and ambiguity
Fluent in technical SEO, in areas such as schema markup, JavaScript, and Angular
Strong analytical skills and background in data visualization
Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar
Intermediate knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., STAT, Screaming Frog, Botify, etc.)
Knowledge of page construction and development, as well as understanding of dynamic shifts in external platforms such as Google organic, social media and local search
Strong attention to detail & time management skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Bachelor's degree in business or marketing a plus
