Who we are At Cisco Tetration, we build a hybrid-cloud workload protection platform that allows customers to collect a rich set of telemetry data on their deployments (across bare-metals, virtual machines, containers) and enables them to implement zero-trust policies in their environment. Cisco Tetration provides unprecedented insights network traffic visibility, policy discovery and management, application discovery and software vulnerabilities to end users.
What you will do We have a pretty broad set of skill sets in the team with team members well versed in various languages and technology stacks. In a typical day, as a member of the team, you may be working on big data pipelines that power policy recommendation engine in Cisco Tetration, adding code to the API layer that powers Cisco Tetration dashboard, working on infrastructure that powers alerts framework for Tetration or building features that help customer get insights into what vulnerabilities are present on their workloads. We have a tradition of celebrating elegantly designed and well-tested code for every part of our product and take pride in being able to push code to production environments in matter of days. We are pretty lean in management and trust everyone in engineering to make right decisions for the product while collaborating with product and marketing teams. You will take complete ownership from conception to production release of any feature you work on.
You are an ideal candidate with BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering 4-5 years of relevant experience or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering 2-3 years of relevant experience strong computer science fundamentals experience with atleast one of Java, golang, ruby, python or C/C++ experience with Ruby on Rails, React or Angular (good to have) familiarity with test driven development willingness to learn new languages/technologies and can-do attitude Show more.
