ServiceNow Administrator

Location Fort Belvoir, VA Description Our client is currently seeking a ServiceNow Administrator Active Secret clearance Location Ability to be onsite at Ft. Belvoir 3 days a week (post-COVID)

Responsibilities

Supports the discovery, requirements gathering, and development of core ServiceNow functionality. Serves as technicalfunctional member on development projects Configuration and administration of the ServiceNow Platform including but not limited to ITSM, ITBM, HR, Discovery, Portal
Catalog and scoped applications Collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to develop solutions and execute planned changes and releases Responsible for changes and release procedures and coordination for ServiceNow applications including but not limited to oCloning and data preservation oUpgrades and patching Provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of the applications Work directly with end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow, responding promptly and professionally and ensuring department SLAs are met Support quality assurance within ServiceNow development lifecycle with functional testing and leadcoordinate UAT sessions with stakeholders Communicate both technically and non-technically to team members and customer stakeholders Assist in gathering and documenting user and process requirements, functional requirements, and developing technical requirements Participate in daily standups, planning sessions, prioritization meetings, and builddeploy activities

Required

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar, or 4 additional years of relevant experience 1 or more years of ServiceNow Experience including but not limited to the following Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow upgrades, patching, cloning, data preservation, up-time, and system performance Hands on experience working with Javascript, Angular, HTML and CSS experience Demonstrated experience working with REST API, JSON and other integrations ITSM, ITBM, HR, or Discovery application implementation or administration ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator Security Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire) Understanding of SDLC and iterative development best practices Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 2 or more years of experience as a system administrator
