We want software engineers who are excited to solve old problems in new ways, and who think in terms of scalability, efficiency, and practicality.
The Software Engineers design, develop, and maintain the applications that comprise our platform with a specific emphasis on usability, performance, and scalability.
At least six years experience developing with .NET
At least two years experience in analyzing business requirements, recommending technical solutions, and writing technical specifications and/or requirements
Excellent SQL programming skills, with the ability to quickly generate complex SQL queries from an entity-relationship diagram
The ability to design and performance tune SQL server databases
An understanding of how to use SQL Server's Management Studio for developing and analyzing ad hoc SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and DDL
Excellent understanding of Web Development technologies in general, including Java
Script, AJAX, and XML, especially using frameworks such as Angular
Experience analyzing business needs, developing solutions and writing technical requirements
An extremely detail-oriented work ethic
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High-speed Internet access at home and a personal computer
The ability to demonstrate work experience by providing examples, samples, and source code
In addition, the ideal candidate will have:
Experience with designing and implement n-tier solutions
Experience with other web and programming technologies including regular expressions, web services, etc.
Experience with creating semantically-correct XHTML, using CSS for layout and presentation
Experience with designing and creating highly scalable database-oriented Web applications
Experience working on Agile teams, especially if work experience includes working in SAFE
