Information Security Engineer
Information Security Engineer The information security engineer will be responsible for bridging the gap between security and the applications team, ensuring that security features and functionality are built into new and existing software applications. This is a security focused position that will interact with software development teams, DevOps, and other infrastructure teams.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with application developers programmers on the security features of new and existing applications. Develop automation for day-to-day information security activities. Identify gaps in the security process Work on remediation for security incidents and review findings Serve as subject matter expert in secure software development between Information Security, Development, DevOps, and other infrastructure teams
QualificationsDemonstrates knowledge of scripting, application testing, OWASP Top 10, Mitre attack framework, and secure coding practices. Cloud security experience in AWS is a must. Azure and Google cloud environments are a plus. Proficiency in programming and scripting using Python, Bash or Power
Shell. Experience with Java, .NET, Angular frameworks are a nice to have. Diverse portfolio of Applications and Services from Web, Mobile, Cloud and Hybrid architecture Exposure to a various security tools and frameworks. Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Security andor software development experience.
CISSP, CEH, CSSLP or Security certifications are nice to have.
