Full Stack Programmer/Analyst

Software Guidance Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Full Stack Programmer
Analyst for a RIGHT TO HIREassignment with one of our premier Wholesalerclients in Dayton, OH. The Programmer Analyst is primarily responsible for working with business users, product owners, analysts, project managers, and all other stakeholders to analyze business problems, then design and create software solutions that resolve them. This includes working with a team to define and prioritize requirements, develop prototypes and programs, define and execute unit and integration tests, resolve defects, define and execute an implementation plan, and provide second tier support.

Responsibilities

Able to perform most routine and newly assigned work autonomously, seeking guidance from peers andor leadership approval for more complex work or in a learning capacity. Analyzes systems, applications, processes, and business requirements to assist creating technical requirements. Determines the parameters of required programming and other technical needs, while encouraging code reusability, adherence to established organizational standards and best practices. Confer with teammates, users, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders, as needed, to secure all hardware, software, database, networking, andor other technical needs for designed solutions. Creates andor modifies technical designs, programs, prototypes, and documentation that meet all of the established standards and successfully passes all levels of testing to satisfy the requirements of the designed solution, within deadlines. Effectively communicates, in oral andor written form, and regularly updates task and project statuses using required project management tools. Assumes ownership and becomes a subject matter expert or administrator of at least one major system, platform, or functional area of expertise , ensuring the proper training of others, and sharing of all relevant information to the rest of the team. Actively participates in standards and best practices review and enforcement. Participates in software demonstrations, build vs buy discussions, and other influential conversations that affect the outcome of an owned project, as needed. Effectively influences coworkers and leadership , in a constructive manner, to achieve buy-in on new or modified standards, best practices, initiatives, decisions, processes, or technical direction.

Required

Skills Associate or Bachelor's degree with at least 3-6 years of relevant work experience. Demonstrates ability to work with problems of various scope and moderate to advanced complexity where analysis of the situation or data requires a choice of learned factors which generally conform to established patterns. Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language and the software development life cycle. Demonstrate foundational knowledge and experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies, as well as good judgment and reasoning for when to use each. Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience in several ERP software functions (Order Processing, Sales Quotes, Inventory Management, Purchase Orders, Accounts Receivable, Credit Management, etc). Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio) Experience in Agile
Scrum environment Experience coding responsiveadaptive design Experience in Test Driven Development, automated unit testing, and pair programming Full Stack Web Application Development Java Springboot Angular 2 HTML, CSSSCSS. Bootstrap SQL Github Create Web application front end as per design comps and information architecture. Integrate front-end application with the application business layer Constantly learn new technologies and skills via media, courses, or new applications Follow best practices and standards for accessibility and cross-browser compatibility Software development experience including OOPS, concurrency programming, design patterns, RESTful service implementation, Service Oriented Architecture, Test-Driven Development, Acceptance Testing

Preferred

Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, IS, or Mathematics. Certifications in software development, programming, or other relevant IT disciplines. Knowledge of, or experience in the wholesale industry, supply chain, distribution, andor warehouse inventory management. Experience with Atlassian products (JIRA, Tempo, Confluence). Java
