KEY SKILLS Knowledge in Health Insurance industry technologies in a development environment Knowledge of Claims Processing in Health Insurance vertical Knowledge of Customer Call Center or Inquiry management best practices Understanding of modern application design approaches Ability to quickly identify work and task breakout to support team within planned sprints Ability to quickly gain business process knowledge to support team and then educate others Ability to apply working knowledge of problem solving across planned and unplanned work Ability to document both business and additional development processing requirements in a clear and articulate manner Ability to jump-in and support with a whatever it takes attitude Ability to see the big picture, understand initiative objectives Understanding of how processes should work with an eye towards improving operational initiatives Experienced in planning and executing work tasks in an Agile-Scrum development platform Ability to maintain active relationships with key stakeholders and technologists outside of direct team Strong written and verbal communication skills are important in this position Ability to develop and document development team processes Ensures unit test completion, meets test plan requirements, system testing is completed according to plan Supports work integrated with (business, functional and technical) processes Facilitates collaboration sessions to elicit complex system information within an Agile team setting
QualificationsEngineer Sr Requires BABS degree in related field or technical institute training and 5 or more years related experience multi platform experience , expert level experience with business and technical applications, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Incumbent should also have the ability to mentor others, lead multiple small projects and provide troubleshooting support. Multi dimensional required. Multi database andor multi language preferred. Engineer Lead Requires an BABS degree in related field or technical institute training and 7 or more years related experience multi-platform experience, and expert level experience with business and technical applications or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Incumbent should also have the ability to mentor others, and provide troubleshooting support. Multi database andor multi language preferred.
TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE Knowledge of various technical tools used during development and planning Experience with Visio, workflow mapping, and other functional system workflow processing tools desired SQL or PLSQL experience required Oracle's Java JDK is a must have Angular JS experience is a must have Informatica ETL, Control M experience highly desired Apigee, Tomcat and Undertow experience a plus Linux familiarity highly desired Atlassian Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket and Bamboo experience is essential Planview experience nice to have.
