Job Description

- Full Stack Java Developer Opportunity to join a brand new team that is an extension of a larger global team!
This will be an intimate group in Houston of 5 people with a Manager who is a seasoned veteran within the industry, and the company. Looking for a strong developer who has a desire to learn on a daily basis - someone who is truly vested in the applications they are building supporting.

Responsibilities

You will be involved in developing high quality, low maintenance software solutions using Test Driven Development for our key rates systems that are used by our global businesses.
You will be adept at estimating work effort, improving existing processes and undertaking technology upgrades such as migrating to a new version of Angular.
You will also be expected to provide knowledge on the latest technology and incorporate them into the portfolio.
You will perform peer code reviews and participate as a member of a global distributed team.
You will also be expected to effectively write product specification and technical documentation, participate in operational and support activities as a member of the DevOps team.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in full stack development Practical experience in Core Java (
1. 8 or above preferred) or Scala Proficiency in AngularJSJavaScript Experience with automated testing frameworks such as FitNesse Knowledge of good software design and application architectural practices Knowledgeable in using Cloud technologies (e.g.
AWS, OpenStack etc.) Experience in Cassandra, RDBMS and SQL Knowledgeable with SDLC tools (e.g. Bamboo, JIRA, GIT, Confluence)
