Frontend Developer

Talent Space is looking for a Frontend Developer with the following skills and experiences You will Develop sophisticated client-side applications for the web and mobile web Collaborate with UIUX designers, other engineers, analysts and product managers to launch new products, maintain existing products, and build a great user experience Work in Agile development environment and interact with multiple stakeholders to deliver the quality product in a timely manner Write highly tested, reusable code and UI libraries to help drive efficiency Participate in design and code reviews You have 2 years of frontend software engineering andor related industry work experience Solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts Experience with ReactJS or other modern JavaScript web framework (Vue, Angular, Ember, etc) Understanding of cross-browser compatibility, progressive enhancement and graceful degradation, responsive design, website performance, and accessibility Experience building reusable UI component libraries Familiarity with design tools like Sketch, InVision Experience with software engineering best practices and related tools like Github, JIRA Well-versed and experience in Agile methodologies Product minded Committed to providing an excellent user experience Understand the trade-offs in employing different engineering solutions to a problem, valuing pragmatism over idealism Excellent verbal and written communication skills Curious about new technologies and willingness to learn Interest in the business of banking o Success in uncovering relevant and effective insights and in communicating them to stakeholders in a way that makes them useful will be strongly contingent on your ability to appreciate and assimilate the bankers' perspective. Prior experience in the field is commensurate with ability to learn Curiosity and thoughtfulness o The ultimate objective of all of our work is to promote the Bank's fundamental mission in helping the bankers help their clients by recognizing and focusing on their unique needs. As a full stack engineer, you'll endeavor to illuminate these needs through indepth collaboration with product managers, data scientists and interactions with the bankers. Ability to think critically and consider how our output is utilized by the users will be key to ensuring its adoption and effectiveness Organization o You'll be producing and interacting with a lot of artefacts communicated to bankers and executives on a regular basis, as well as collecting feedback and providing governance once they are in production. Ability to stay focused on different tasks and deploy your time, talents and energy effectively and efficiently will be paramount to the success of
