Enterprise financial services partner of THE JUDGE GROUP seeking a hands-on, expert level WPF Application Developer with extensive competency and proven performance in MS .NET/C# stack. Long term contract with potential for extension and/or eventual conversion with respect to the needs of the client
- This outcome is dependent ENTIRELY upon the needs of the end-client, team and landscape of the coming months. Position will be based in Austin, TX upon transition from shelter-from-home public health practice; Locality to the area or FIRM COMMITMENT to relocation are 100% required.

- 10 years of software development experience
- 2 years of Agile/Scrum development methodologies experience.
- 10 years .NET experience
- 5 years C# experience
- 5 years WPF experience
- Strong Windows application development experience (using .NET) is a must
- Strong multi-threaded programming experience
- Experience with WPF is a must
- Strong UI development experience
- Good understanding of object-oriented design concepts
- Strong analytical & debugging skills
- Familiarity with the principles of object-oriented design is required
- Familiarity of continuous delivery/continuous integration techniques.
- Professional experience developing distributed, scalable enterprise-class UI applications a plus
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Self-starter that can manage multiple priorities concurrently with minimal direction.
- Ability to anticipate future risks and take mitigating steps proactively.
- Experience with building distributed applications is a plus

Required Skills

- Demonstrated proficiency in web based development languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, jQuery, .NET/C#
- Experience in applying client side MV frameworks such as backbone.js and AngularJS. Experience with Angular v
4. 0 preferred
- A passion for including automated unit tests in the development process
- Understanding of Agile/Lean software development principles along with experience participating in agile projects Preferred skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles
- Experience with pairing, TDD & BDD - Knowledge of Web Content Management Systems
- Experience with Web API and RESTful services
- Knowledge of Web Accessibility
- Experience in developing against NoSQL systems like MongoDB - Experience in application performance tuning and capacity planning
- Knowledge of financial services or banking.
