Sharepoint Developer - Vice President/Associate

OverviewAs part of SMBC Americas' on-going strategy of enterprise-level integration, the Strategy & Transformation Department is developing integration-focused programs which will align the philosophy and processes of the multiple legal entities and businesses comprising SMBC Americas.
A key element in the development and execution of these programs will be the utilization of project management to ensure that issues are promptly and accurately captured, prioritized, communicated and delivered. The VP/Associate Web Business Process Engineer-Integration is responsible for creating and managing project management dashboards and senior management reporting on region-wide level projects which will deliver critical information necessary to identify needs, trends and issues impacting project progress.

Responsibilities

The primary job responsibilities include: Developing web applications in Share
Point Online utilizing Java
Script / JSOM web parts Creating and managing web dashboard views in Share
Point and Power BI that enable management teams to communicate program status Creating online and printable reports for management on a regular and ad hoc basis, utilizing Java
Script, Power BI and third-party libraries Providing first and second-level production support for web applications in use Reviewing and analyzing existing program processes, and recommend/implement improvements Documenting processes and procedures necessary for an efficient and effective process Following up with users as to status and updates Continually identifying and remediating reporting deficiencies, in support of continuous improvement Serving as liaison across functions to coordinate and drive solutions to AD-level PMO technology issues. Qualifications
Highly proficient with Java
Script and utilizing JSOM and Share
Point REST API to develop web solutions
Excellent knowledge of MIS, analytics and reporting
Ability to analyze work-flows and develop data reporting tools based on research, interviews, and subject matter expertise. Understands how to analyze the risks, issues and future impact of decisions; incorporating continual adjustments from stakeholders to keep the project on course and when to escalate issues to higher levels. Possesses a highly developed sense of accountability and follow-through with an ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks, projects and goals. Ability to understand complex and highly technical concepts, and easily explain/translate them to peers. Ability to be a self-starter by working independently to identify and/or complete tasks, and successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously while interacting professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize work by setting and meeting realistic deadlines, forecasting and communicating changes resulting from risks and issues, while ensuring a high level of fiscal control and accountability for project budget and resources.5+ years of experience in software development

- BA/BS (or equivalent experience
