About this role.
BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. seeks Vice President, Application Engineering in Princeton, NJ to develop and enhance reconciliation and reporting systems for a multi-asset portfolio management business. Req's: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing technologies including Java, Swing, JavaScript, XML, HTML, Object Oriented programming, Angular, Cassandra, SQL/Sybase or equivalent DBMS, Apache Web server, Web services, and batch and job scheduling mechanisms, Perl, Shell/Unix, C and C++; and developing technology infrastructure for financial environments, including Portfolio Reconciliation and trading systems, including fixed income securities, equities swaps, or derivatives. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or equivalent in one of the above fields and 4 years of experience in the above listed skills.
