Training Program / Junior Java Developers / Multiple Openings

Junior Java Developer ndash Multiple Openings Work from home to start with due to Covid-19 restrictions, after that the position would be based out of Downtown, New York City.
Major Wall Street Financial Institution are looking for Junior Java Developers to join their growing automation team. This is a contracting position and you will be contributing to their growing Java
Groovy based automation framework, adding to our existing automation test coverage, and maintaining existing Java Groovy Java
Script Unix Perl scripts.


BS or MS MA Degree in Computer Science or similar applied technical experience Work Internship School coding experience in core Java, andor OOPs like Groovy Perl Python Java
Script Good understanding of SQL Methodical and detail oriented, with solid analytical skills and problem-solving ability with proven hands-on software development experience Understanding of software skills such as automation, business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement Ability to handle continuous and evolving requirements in an expedient manner while juggling a myriad of responsibilities Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals Good understanding of Unix shell scripting Exposure to FIX protocol is a huge plus!
Experience in developing full-stack web applications utilizing Tomcat, and React Expert level Snowboarder Badminton player Laser Tag annihilator On Job training will be provided for Advanced Unix commands and Business
