Remote Tech Lead Software Developer
Kforce has a client, a growing company in the Phoenix, AZ area is seeking a Remote Tech Lead Software Developer. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager. This position is 100% remote.
ResponsibilitiesWill Lead team development efforts towards successful project delivery Responsible for developing or upgrading application software for the company's flagship products Coaches teams to victory by guiding effective ways to communicate project visions, that inspires team to achieve Provide technical leadership to teammates through delivery of quality solutions to technical problems Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code Package and support deployment of releases Develop, refine, and tune integration between applications Analyze and resolve technical and application problems Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties. Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for less experienced software engineers Participate in agile estimations, planning, daily ceremonies and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement in team and personal performance. Research and evaluate a variety of software products
Skills BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Development/Engineering or similar field 8-15+ Years of enterprise software development in either C# or Java is preferred Recent experience of designing and developing RESTful APIs Experience with Java
Script frameworks such as (JQuery, AngularJS, React), HTML5, CSS3 Databases such as Oracle (including PL/SQL), Postgres, MS SQL Server, (NoSQL like Mongo a bonus) Experience with Source Management (Git, TFS, etc.), build scripting (Gradle, Maven, Make) and build servers Bamboo/Jenkins Experience with Unix/Linux based operating systems is preferred Exposure to JIRA or similar issue tracker Unit Testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD) Cross skilled in multiple key languages is high regarded Experience building scalable and fault-tolerant systems in complex and hybrid environments Experience with Java, Pega PRPC are plusses but not required Experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments Experience with agile development methodologies including Kanban and/or Scrum Experience with multi-threading and concurrency is a plus Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) is a plus Exposure to case management, workflow and BPM would be highly regarded (specifically Pega Systems) is a plus but not required Experience with automated testing is a plus but not required Experience with Docker is a plus but not required Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories
