If you're a match, please apply or contact PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION To assist all aspects of the development and operation of enterprise business application and web development to meet company and business units' goals objectives. The Senior Developer position is a leadership role requires excellence in technical solutioning, consultation, mentoring and problem solving based on experience and a strong commitment achieving high quality results. It is essential to have a thoughtful, persevering, self-disciplined approach to achieving accurate, detailed work.
A key aspect to the job includes collaborating with business units and peers, the ongoing identification of technical requirement and the development of sound, carefully thought-out solutions. Technical solutioning, consultation, and problem solving should minimize risk and utilize existing resources. Because of the expertise developed in this position, it is necessary to regularly initiate and communicate viewpoints on challenges and opportunities in a factual, straightforward and timely manner. This job allows for autonomy and independence and is primarily self-reliant, because of the fast-paced job environment, decisions must be made quickly and firmly, within the defined scope of job authority and based on job expertise.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Managesleadsco-leads, designs, develops, maintains enterprise, complex business application projects to meet business unit's requirement utilizing structured project management methodology (Agenda and Meeting Minutes that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-based) Leadsco-leads, designs, develops, maintains and documents web-based applications utilizing the formalized SDLC supporting mission-critical business processes Designs, develops, maintains and documents internal and public web-based applications in a variety of languages on different platforms, source code, and PP (Process and Procedures) Maintains, updates and documents SQL Server databases hosting internal and external applications (Sage, public websites, internal web applications) Leadsco-lead and mentors Intermediate and Junior Developers Represents IT department in working cohesively with business units' staff and upper management in meeting business units' goals and objectives Performs other duties and functions as assigned by the supervisor or Company executive Adheres to the Company's policies, procedures, code of conduct, confidentiality requirements and IT Department's Vision and Mission Sets a high standard of ethical behavior for self and for others to follow Collaborates with all department leaders to ensure appropriate inclusiveness Demonstrates competence, shares knowledge, and eagerness to learn Performs duties in an organized and thoughtful manner Communicates effectively with coworkers and clients Operates with integrity in all actions and words Respects others and the work performed REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Extensive knowledge and experience with .NET (4.5 ) C, WebAPI Extensive knowledge of Software Architectures (OOP, Interfaces, Dependency Injection, IO
C containers, N-tier, SOA, and Microservices) Extensive knowledge and experience with AngularJS (Angular 2.0 and above) Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Experience with Entity Framework 6 (code first, not database first), Unit Testing and Automapper (or similar object mapping framework) Github (source control), Visual Studio (IDE), Trello, and Jira
Confluence (Software management tool to track progress) Familiar with MVC pattern, CSS, HTML and JQuery, and mobile development, Visual Studio, Adobe Suite (Dreamweaver
Photoshop) and others. Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and other office automation applications QUALIFICATIONS 7 years minimum business experience in a developer role BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or any equivalent combination of education, experience and portfolio work that demonstrates aptitude SUPERVISION This position directly and daily reports to the Senior Vice President, Information Technology This position has no supervisory responsibilities
