Responsibilities:

Our Front-End Engineers work closely with designers and product managers to build the user experiences of our enterprise and consumer web applications.  They utilize state-of-the-art web technologies to ensure our products look and work great on all screen sizes, are intuitive and easy to use. We are looking for a top Senior Front-End Engineer to lead our Front-End development team.

  • Collaborate with Product, Design and Backend to create responsive performance applications
  • Collaborate and educated product and design teams on how component based architecture relates to product
  • Develop and maintain UI Component Library
  • Identify and resolve performance and scalabilty issues
  • Utilize RESTful backend services
  • Lead Agile development process sprints for Front-End team, providing effort estimates, commitments and feedback to Jira tasks
  • Create and maintain Unit and E2E tests

Your Background:

  • 5-7 years of experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills.
  • 2-3 years of leading, hiring, and mentoring engineers
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Ember, etc)
  • Extra points if you have hands-on Angular 2 and TypeScript experience
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Data visualization experience using D3.js, SVG, Canvas, etc.
  • Experience with modular, component based UI development (Web Components)
  • Knowledge of native DOM and Event API's
  • Knowledge of browser quirks and their remedies
  • Experience building front-end code with server-side technology
  • Familiarity and comfort with command-line applications, source control, testing frameworks and other aspects of developing in large, distributed software teams
  • Knowledge of (and a passion for) current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility, security and usability
  • Knowledge of browser internals like Javascript engines and ways to tune code for best performance
