The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer II is a QA professional who contributes his/her advanced expertise and practice of quality assurance and testing to high performing Agile teams. The QA Assurance Engineer II is an advanced individual contributor to both quality control (testing) and quality assurance (process and prevention).u00A0 This role is also expected to understand and exhibit the importance of adhering to regulations (i.e.
SOX, FDA, HIPAA, PCI, etc.) and is responsible for contributing to regulatory compliance.u00A0As an important member of an Agile environment, the person hired in this role is expected to cultivate, grow, and maintain core principals including, but not limited to, continuous improvement, self-organization, adaptive planning, and value driven development, using methodologies and frameworks such as LEAN, SCRUM, and KANBAN.u00A0 Additionally, the person hired will possess a growth-mindset, be team-oriented, have strong interpersonal skills, and possess the ability to deal with ambiguity; applicants must also demonstrate an aptitude for team communication and collaboration. Identify and communicate quality concerns and/or process improvements.
Apply test methodology, as well as business process and application knowledge, in the design of tests and testing strategies/approaches.
Perform/collaborate on specialized testing efforts such as performance testing, security testing, automation, etc. Serve as a QA and testing expert.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOUu2019LL BRINGu00A0Required.
Bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent work experience is requiredAt least five years of related work experience is requiredAt least four years of strong hands-on QA experience with web applications, services and APIs preferably developed using SQL Server, Windows Server, Visual Studio .NET, ASP.NET, HTML/CSS/JS, jQuery, React, Angular, C#At least 3 years of experience in database testing with the ability to read, write, and execute complex SQL queriesAt least 2 years of experience with automation testing using tools and frameworks like NUnit, Katalon, UFT, or SeleniumAt least 3 years of experience testing web services, web APIs, Databases, Authentication, web server configuration.
Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power.
Point, etc. At least 3 years mentoring experience.
Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar source code & project management suite u00A0Typically, 3 years of demonstrated experience coordinating test activities among multiple testers.
Typically,3 years of experience leading a testing project including responsibility for all test planning and reporting activities Preferred.
Certifications, licenses, etc. are not required for this position, however, holding or obtaining a certification from an industry-recognized testing and quality assurance entity is advantageous for this position.u00A0 u00A0u00A0Competencies: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as organization and documentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to complete tasks and cooperate and collaborate in achieving team objectives.
Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships within a business setting.
