Your Role as a Senior Software Engineer Ready for a new challenge and adventure in your career?
Looking for a Software Engineer to help us build our next-generation platform. As part of our growing development team, yoursquoll be responsible for building new features and enhancements for our applications while focusing on solutions that are scalable, secure, and maintainable. As a key stakeholder in the software development lifecycle, you will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software, while ensuring that best practices are employed throughout the process. The success of the companyrsquos products is due, in large part, to our Software Engineers. Strong candidates will possess rock-solid coding and database skills, sound deductive reasoning, excellent time management skills, attention to detail, persistence, creativity, efficiency, and a sense of humor. Design, build, andor maintain Software-as-a
- Service (SaaS) solutions in the AWS cloud that are highly-available and highly-scalable Produce clean efficient code and participate in peer code reviews using technologies like Microsoft C, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, Python, PHP, Java.
Script (Angular, Type.
Script, NodeJS), AJAXjQuery, and related technologies Work with relational databases and leverage your experience with technologies like SQL Server and PostgreSQL Serve as a technical resource to develop and integrate the companyrsquos mobile application platform using cutting edge mobile development tools (primarily Appcelerator and Xamarin) and the .NET development technology stack. Collaborate effectively using Agile methodologies to solve complex problems and improve products Maintain open communication across Development, QA, Operations, and other cross-functional teams Be accountable for your work and those of your teammates, and ensure that code performs as expected Actively maintain software, troubleshoot and fix defects while developing new features that adhere to the project roadmap Estimate and track your work, and deliver on commitments you make while effectively reporting on progress or possible barriers Nice to Haves Bachelorrsquos Degree in Computer Science or related field Microsoft Visual Studio
- Microsoft Team Foundation Server Git experience IIS administration, planning, and deployment knowledge and Windows Server Administration is a strong plus Experience with AWS or other cloud environments Experience with Docker, microservices, and distributed systems
