ASRC Federal Mission Solutions Engineering is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking highly motivated mid-level Software Engineers to support the development and sustainment of Government Open Source Software, and Systems in San Diego, CA

Responsibilities

Work in a collaborative team using agile software development methodology, performing the following tasks: Participates in software requirements review, preliminary and critical design reviews, integration readiness review, and software acceptance reviews. Manage multiple tools and releases in DevOps Development environments on multi-platforms such as but not limited to: Windows, Linux, RHEL7+Work with Government stakeholders to enhance, repair, and release government managed open source software products and componentsASRC Federal and its Subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers. Requirements
Experience:5-8 years' experience in software development, maintenance, or support in an Open/Layered Architecture Environment, Operating Environments; Model-based tools; Information Assurance; Tools Development; Safety Analysis; Real-Time System Data Analysis; Problem Analysis; System Integration; Cyber Security Tools and Methodologies; Containerization and virtualization; Working with or contributing to open source software repositories
Experience developing software with Java, Javascript, C++, and Python. Experience developing widgetized software. Experience with Javascript Framework REACT JSExperience with web server technology such as Apache2 and Tomcat
Experience developing software with Agile scaled principles. Experience with Atlassian Tools such as but not limited to: Jira, Bitbucket, Crucible, Confluence
Experience with code quality tools such as but not limited to: Checkmarx, CodeDxExperience with Object Oriented design/development including the employment of Design Patterns to facilitate the utilization of software insulation techniques and plugins
Experience working with Linux, UNIX, Windows environments. Experience working with virtual and containerized environments; Technologies such as but not limited to:
VMWare, Docker, Open
ShiftStrong skills with Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as Eclipse, Visual Code, IntelliJ.US Citizenship in order to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Certifications: Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

Preferred

IAT II Certifications such as but not limited to: CompTIA Security+, and System Security Certified Practioner (SSCP) Bachelor's degree or higher (in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, Physics, or related field) or equivalent related work experience.
