Responsibilities

Leads and designs complex (multi system or enterprise) deployment and end to end testing plans. Evaluates designs against the overall strategic architecture of the IT organization. Provides input to IT Architecture to establish methods and standards for key systems and processes across multiple areas or enterprise wide. Reviews and approves functional and technical specifications. Researches, recommends, and implements new technologies. Influence and train team on concepts. Recommends improvements. Oversees work estimates of multiple developers and brings them together into a comprehensive estimate and plan. Leads ongoing updates and is accountable for delivery. Prioritizes ongoing day to day activities for the team

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 5 years of application development experience. 5 years of experience developing Java applications. 5 years of experience developing Web applications. 3 years of experience leading projects end to end. 3 years of B2B / B2C e-commerce design and development experience. Hands on experience with HTML, CSS, XML, XSL, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, Node.js Concepts and Architecture of Object Oriented Design and Programming, MVC Pattern Relational Database Design, SQL (Oracle or DB2 preferred) Java, JEE, JDBC, JNDI, Servlets, EJB, JSP SOA and Web Services Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Boot Source Code Control (Subversion or GIT preferred) Eclipse or RAD (IBM Rational Application Developer) Caching Technologies (WebSphere Extreme Scale, ehCache or others) Application Server Experience (Websphere Preferred)

Education

Requirements: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
