Our subscription data & editorial service has attracted customers in 99 countries and covers more than 81 stock exchanges worldwide.  Headquartered in the heart of the Oxford city centre, we're looking for an innovative and experienced Javascript engineer to join our team and accelerate the development of our online platform.

 

If you like to build features end to end, love working with new technologies and are genuinely passionate about the web you'll fit right in.  This is an opportunity for a Front end engineer with ambition and ability to take on a key responsibility within the development of our rapidly growing financial brand.

 

The role has a strong focus on using client side Javascript MVC to integrate our vast financial and user generated databases through Restful APIs into a wonderful UX.  AngularJS experience is a big plus, and competent PHP, Python or Java skills may come in quite handy.   If you do have stock market knowledge that's a plus, but if not, just bring some fresh eyes and a sense of curiosity and you'll pick it up fast.

Here's what you'll need:

• 5 years experience building responsive websites/apps

• Strong Portfolio of cutting edge front end work

• Strong Javascript Skills (Angular JS a big plus)

• Bower, Grunt, Require.js, Coffeescript, TypeScript all a bonus

• REST API experience, ideally with PHP frameworks - Symfony2 ideally.

• Semantic UI experience a plus

• Desirable - Good UX & Design
