Scrum Master III (with Java Development)
We are seeking a Mid-Level Scrum Master for our client in Brentwood TN. The client is seeking someone who can go full time without any sponsorship or visa transfer. Will consider non-local candidates who is willing to relocated to Brentwood, TN. This Scrum Master is responsible for leading one or multiple Scrum teams to implement Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Data Management solutions. Will serve as a liaison for hisher Scrum teams with all the project stakeholders. This Scum Master team will be working with an offshore team. The ideal candidate will be someone who has prior development experience with Java. Responsibilities will include the following Facilitating team level Agile processes and release train execution around requirements definition, scope, and delivery. Resolve team level impediments, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement throughout the delivery teams and lifecycle. Solid understanding of Agile
Scrum and Kanban principles and practices, and understands the unique opportunities and challenges associated with organizing, facilitating, and continuously aligning the scrum team with the guiding business strategy. Work with product management, product owners, and business owners to help assure execution alignment for Scrum teams. Facilitate Agile
Scrum team execution and feature completion tracking for 2-3 Scrum teams. Assist with economic decision-making by facilitating Epic estimation by teams and rollup to program level visibility as necessary. Help manage risk and dependencies. Create, modify, publish and leverage standardized Agile Metrics to facilitate continuous improvement on the Scrum Team. Work with multiple in-house and external Scrum teams enterprise-wide to remove impediments and manage dependencies. Arrange and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, story grooming, and demoretro. Ensure quick inspection and proper use of agile process. Escalate and assist in resolution of impediments. Facilitate release planning events for assigned Scrum teams. Encourage and guide the adoption of DevOps policies and DevOps procedures. Provide coaching on agile practices and methods for assigned as well as other scrum teams.
