Quality Assurance and Test Automation Engineer

Essential Job Functions middot Implement and develop automated test practices for web applications middot Design, create, and maintain Selenium test scripts for databases, software use-cases, bug fixes, and system usability perform regression and negative testing within the product development lifecycle middot Define and report meaningful test metrics based on requirements, specifications and designs middot Create detailed, comprehensive test strategies and plans to identify, record, and track defects middot Provide quality control expertise for management to develop, maintain, and refine quality practices middot Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced test and development personnel Desired Experience and Skills middot Demonstrated ability to develop and institute software testing and quality assurance practices within established high-performance development teams active adaptive learner and leader who facilitates and demonstrates healthy, positive growth middot Extensive experience in software application test automation including test planning and development for APIs, micro-services and web applications using Microsoft test frameworks like MS-Test, Cypress, or Selenium with .NET Core 2.03.1 middot Comprehensive skills in system and software management tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2017 and Git familiarity with Angular 89, Angular Material, .NET Core, C, SQL Server 2016, Java Script, Type
Script, and HTML 5 middot Demonstrated ability to operate in a continuous integration, continuous development (CICD) environment using Jenkins, Docker, Team
City, or similar software middot Software development experience using scripting languages, especially Java
Script or Node.js middot Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as TestNG, Mocha, or NUnit middot Experience with source code control and configuration management systems middot Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design, and debugging middot Ability to leverage ad-hoc database queries using SQL or SQL tools such as Toad Educational Requirements middot Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in engineering, computer science, information systems, or other related technical degree Scheduled Weekly Hours 40
