Job Description

& Qualifications.

Responsibilities

* Define and develop detailed requirements in short time-boxes by working with diverse technical stakeholders (data architects, business, operations, IT security teams, technical leads and domain specialists etc.)
* Conduct scoping sessions with business and integration partners
* Conduct iteration planning meetings and story mapping with software engineers
* Create software development user stories from the technical design using tools like Rally
* Understand business and user priorities, and perform technical feasibility analysis in order to prioritize the product group backlogs and manage risks
* Build and manage product roadmap including dependencies
* Create and review data structure and algorithms to apply Artificial Intelligence and predictive models for fleet management of Autonomous Vehicles
* Create blueprints, workflows, Business Integration Model (BIM), Architecture Integration Model (AIM), process maps and infrastructure diagrams for the software system capabilities hence driving integration
* Build wireframes and working prototypes using tools like UXPIN and InVision for front end screens for the development team
* Create the technical design, data flow and sequence diagrams using tools like MS Visio for the new module development to support microservice architecture
* Provide technical assistance to scrum teams by being able to interpret and parse the program code and help in code reviews written in Java
- Struts and Spring, J2EE
* Develop and review UI code reviews that use client-side scripting with JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, Angular JS
* Interpret data services and payloads located in AWS cloud and PCF to assist in technical design
* Review and test client/server RESTful API interactions using tools like Postman, Swagger, SOAP UI etc.
* Creating UML diagrams (Unified Modelling Language) viz. Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, and Business Flow Diagrams and workflow designs for depicting interactions between various modules for various development teams
* Gather data, perform data-mining and analysis on that data by writing system queries in SQL to identify trends and develop forecasts for vehicle, parts demand and supply
* Lead coordination and execution within cross-functional product teams
* Test and verify that the delivered software group products meet desired business outcomes
* Conduct Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups and iteration retrospectives
* Gather user and stakeholder feedback using lean validation techniques to drive improvements and manage the product groups roadmap
* Actively works to remove impediments and blockers to the product groups delivery
* Negotiate product timelines with business partners and dependent teams
* Identifies risks, and implements mitigation and contingency plans, focused on early mitigation or elimination of risks.
* Writing code using TDD (Test Driven Development) process to maintain code quality
* Implement Log4J, and SLF4J, request identifier to services for debugging the microservices to fix bugs and issues
* Requires working in Xtreme Programming Agile development environment to develop Features, Epics and User Stories and use Kanban Board for backlog management
* Employs and/or champions Agile software processes, culture, best practices, and techniques.
Minimum

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
* 4+ years with progressive responsibilities in IT and Agile Software Development Methodology
* 3+ years of experience defining IT product vision, strategy, product roadmaps and creating and managing backlogs.

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree
* Demonstrated ability to drive development of highly technical consumer focused mobile applications and/or technical platforms
* Experience with Lean methodology & Extreme Programming (XP)
* Demonstrated understanding and ability to drive API economy and solutions
* Ability to drive highly available consumer ready Internet properties and technical platforms
* Experience defining product vision, strategy, product roadmaps and creating and managing backlogs
* Experience articulating and validating product hypotheses
* Experience collaborating with engineers, designers and product owners as part of co-located team
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to the audience
* Ability to work collaboratively and navigate complex decision making in a rapidly changing environment
* Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to teach others.
* Knowledge of TOGAF and Architecture Development
* Architecture knowledge across all aspects of architecture (Business, solution, information, application and infrastructure)
* Hands-on experience in object-oriented coding and design using Java, Spring Boot framework, JSON
* Must be able to think and act strategically, without constraints, but be able to operationalize
* Strong demonstrated competencies across the Autonomous Vehicle and Mobility Business
* Strong communication, collaborative, and influencing skills
* Proven ability to work closely with management one to three levels above.
* Strong personal presence to be able to represent technical concerns in Product Group prioritization.
