The focus of this co-op term will be centered around strengthening the developer community initiatives at Black.Berry, specifically around Black.
Berry Dynamics SDK on iOS, Android, etc. as well as a number of other integration API sets. The successful candidate will contribute sample applications and collaborate with the Black.
Berry developer community to create meaningful solutions to everyday problems. The candidate will also participate in the on- boarding of developers to our partner program. The candidate will work alongside the Solution Architecture Development Technologies team to assist with developer engagement, blogs, docs, and sample applications which will be used to eliminate roadblocks in customer and partner opportunities. When this project is complete the student will gain a strong understanding of collaborating with developers to educate, excite, and evolve a developer community.

The successful candidate s responsibilities will include:Developing externally-facing sample Android, iOS, and cross platform (React
- Native, Cordova, etc.) applications using Black.
Berry SDKs Rapidly prototyping projects for enterprise security and IoT Collaborating with the Black.
Berry developer community by supporting partner on- boarding and engagements Writing technical documentation for the Black.
Berry Developer Blog and website Contributing to our open-source community and publishing your code samples to Black.
Berry s Github repository Building software with next-generation cybersecurity AI tools (Unified Endpoint Security) and discovering the world of Mobile Threat Detection and endpoint security
Skills
_And_Qualifications
Currently pursuing post-secondary education in a Computer Science/ Engineering program, or related field of study Strong knowledge of development and application distribution Experience with embedded Node.js on Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Android Things, or related IoT hardware.Strong communication and writing skills Ability to present to, and collaborate with, various individuals or groups Professional acumen Additional_Assets Mobile Application Management (MAM) experience Understanding of mobile web frameworks (Angular.js, Node.js, Ionic) Proficiency in iOS development and distribution Experience with Android development Knowledge around release management (cross-platform) Previous enterprise or mobile experience Experience in community or developer relations An understanding of any subset of the following technologies is an asset: Android, iOS, Cordova, Mobile Application Management, HTML5 Job_Family_Group_Name Business Administration & Operations Scheduled_Weekly_Hours 40 Show more.
