Sr. Backend Engineer - Node/Machine Learning

Currently, we're looking for a Sr. Backend Engineer who has experience with Node and wants to grow into a leadership-type of role in the future. This candidate will preferably also have experience with Machine Learning. (Plus)What's In It for You

- Experience as a seasoned Backend Engineer of equivalent
- Experience with Node
- Experience with Machine Learning (Plus)
- Experience with one or more of the following:
RESTful APIs, AWS, Docker, No-SQL, SQL, CI/CD, GIT, and Elasticsearch
- Experience with one or more of the following: Express, JavaScript, Python, Go, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
- Four (4) year bachelors degree in computer programming/science or equivalent work experience
- Experience working in a startup environmentWhat You Will Be Doing
- Design and develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express
- Data modeling and creating database schemas (MongoDB, Postgres)
- Build ETL pipelines
- Participate in planning and brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms and products
- Write well designed, testable code using current best practices
- Create and maintain software documentation
