Tyler Technologies is looking for a passionate, talented Software Engineer to join our Courts and Justice product development team. As a Software Engineer on our team, you will work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment to build new features and functionality into our cloud-native web applications.
Work with our integrated solutions that help courts and public safety organizations of all sizes better protect and serve the public. By helping provide solutions that improve efficiency and response time, you can help serve our citizens and make communities safer.

Responsibilities

Develop new application functionality from documented requirements and mockups. Implement web user interfaces using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript. Maintain existing application functionality by fixing bugs or clearing up operational deficiencies. Write unit tests. Participate in architecture design sessions. Collaborate well with an agile development team with a positive attitude. Achieve departmental goals and timelines. Investigate and resolve Dev Ops as needed.

Qualifications

Ability to excel working in a highly collaborative team environment. Knowledge of Agile development practices. Strong verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues. Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or comparable work experience. 1-3 years of software engineering experience with relevant technologies HTML CSS JavaScript SQL Server 2008+ C (.NET
4. 0+ or .NETCore) Additional experience with these technologies is preferred, but not required AngularJS or Angular 2+ or Vue.js Entity Framework AWS (lambda functions, EC2, S3, etc) Demonstrated proficient knowledge of software development practices, computer science theory, and understanding of relevant technologies. Demonstrated basic understanding of product architecture and all underlying technologies. Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment. Good interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication and teamwork. Well-developed logical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, technical environment. Keen attention to detail.
