.NET Sitecore Developer
NET Developer is responsible for creating user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining .NET based templates, components, and interfaces, as well as Digital Asset Management and workflow features for the Sitecore platform. As part of our technology team, the .NET Developer will work closely with marketing & other business teams, along with internal IT teams to design, develop, customize and maintain solutions built on Sitecore. The .NET Developer is expected to grow and develop, not only our system capabilities on Sitecore, but also offer occasional internal mentoring to fellow developers to ensure that our standards for technology delivery on Sitecore are repeatable, consistent, effective, and current.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. 7 years relevant experience may be substituted for degree.
Degree in Computer Science or a business discipline is preferred.
Sitecore Professional Developer Certification is required.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in developing, implementing and supporting enterprise level solutions is required.
Minimum five (5) years of hands-on technical experience with the following is required: C#, ASP.net, MVC, HTML, CSS, JSON, YAML, XML, Java
Script, JQuery, SQL Server.
At least four (4) years of experience with Sitecore CMS
- 8.x or higher is required.
At least two (2) years of React JS framework experience is a must.
At least one (1) year of Sitecore to Share
Point connector experience.
Experience working in agile environment is a plus.
Experience using developer tools to diagnose and debug coding issues is a must.
Experience working with any of the following technologies is preferred but not required; Mobile development using Xamarin, Gulp/Nuget, Google Analytics Glass Mapper (Transact SQL), AppDynamics, Cloud technologies (AWS) Knowledge of version control systems, e.g. git, bitbucket, etc, to checkout, push, pull, clone, merge and commit.
Knowledge of SOLR or similar enterprise search providers.
Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD, including scripting builds.
Superior demonstrable problem solving skills is required.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision is required.
Ability to independently define problems and develop solutions is required.
Adaptability to changing work priorities and a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional attitude is required.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, with technical and non-technical peers.
Ability to maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with people both internally and externally as it relates to the operations and businessis required.
Requires the ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Strong work ethic including availability to work additional hours as needed.
