Join a highly technical team working on new and cutting edge projects Position Overview : We are looking for an experienced problem solver and an influencer of positive change. This team player will be interfacing with business representatives, stakeholders, and business users to identify requirements and scope, and be involved in all phases of the software lifecycle with an emphasis on software development, design quality, and implementation. They will also contribute to multiple products with a focus on maintainability, security, and performance. Temporarily remote due to COVID-19. Key Accountabilities: Performs all tasks in the development life cycle including, but not limited to requirements analysis, design, development, and code review Research and evaluate the impact of new systems and applications on business operations; discuss opportunities for product enhancements, replacements, and other activities. Adhere to best practices in coding standards, tech debt resolution, and continuous integration. Support and maintain existing applications, applying code fixes as needed and partake in knowledge sharing sessions with other teams. Provide mentorship and technical guidance as a knowledge and perform peer review on various aspects of the software development lifecycle continuing to receive guidance from technical leads. Collaborate and deliver in an Agile/Scrum environment by participating in scrum ceremonies and encourage process improvements iteratively Ideal Candidate: Expert knowledge with one or more of the following: C#, ASP.NET MVC, Microsoft SQL Server, jQuery, JSON, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and experience in multiple Java
Script libraries (e.g. Vue.js, Angular) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field and discipline. Minimum of 3 years of development experience in an Agile environment Strong understanding of OOP (Object Oriented Programming) principles and multiple design patterns. Ability to plan, implement, test, and troubleshoot complex technologies, software, and system solutions Ability to review, critique, and perform analysis and design of systems, programs, and processes Experience with established peer review and quality assurance processes Ability to supervise and mentor other developers Ability to effectively work with people in other departments and/or outside of the enterprise that operate outside the confines of an agile workshop
