Mgr Software Engineering Enterprise Content Services
Asa Software Engineering Manager, you will be instrumental in helping developinnovative ideas to fruition as it relates the banks enterprisedocument/content management needs. As the Manager of Software
Engineering, you will serve as a key contributor and leader in the space oftechnological innovation. You will combine your technical expertise and strongleadership skills to spearhead a results-driven engineering operation. Thedynamic workload will encompass both attribute enhancements and cutting-edgeinnovations.
The Manager of Software Engineering willbe responsible for:
Working with engineers, architects and the platformowner to set the Enterprise Content Services technical direction and strategicobjectives.
Establishing current state, future state and relatedroad map for Enterprise Content Management driving the business and supporting technologyforward.
Provide technical and functional leadershipfor the Enterprise Content Services team on technology projects throughout thebank.
Develop,manage and lead a team of highly-inquisitive technologists, offering them bothmentoring and coaching.
Collaboratewith engineers, architects, product managers and other technical ornon-technical stakeholders to define design approaches that are aligned withthe customer-centric product vision.
Developing and leading the technicalmigration and disposition of the banks legacy Enterprise Content Managementsolutions.
Participating in design and code reviews toensure both deliveries of desired business outcomes and alignment to enterprisestandards.
Ensurethe best engineering and documentation practices are understood and executed.
Collaboratewith peers within the organization to ensure seamless integration of functionalworkflows.
Ensuresuccessful incremental product releases while driving to deadlines andoptimizing investments. Assuring quality through efficient management of teamand resources.
Evaluate and manage riskand vulnerabilities during the software development process by consistentlyemploying industry best-practices.
10+years of hands-on software development experience with a proven record ofsuccessfully developing consumer-facing, reliable and scalable products
7+years of relevant managerial experience, managing teams of technologists andengineers
Excellentunderstanding of engineering software processes, methodologies (agile,waterfall, SCRUM and life-cycle), configuration management, release managementand systems verification and test
Proficientin multiple programming languages, including at least one front end framework(Angular/React/Vue), such as Python3, Java, Java
Script, Ruby, Golang, C, C++,etc.
AWS/AZURE/GCPexperience, including managing sensitive assets
Experiencewith CICD pipeline (CircleCI, Jenkins, or equivalent)
Experience working with data and DBMS,including legacy and emerging database technologies
Experience building or integrating cloud-nativeapplications
Experience with (RESTful) API’s
Strongcommunication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills
5+years of experience in the financial services industry, developing solutionsfor consumer banking, portfolio management, trading, compliance or wealthmanagement
Understandingof banking system and custodial and consumer banking operations
Experience implementing an Enterprise Content
Management solution, ideally at a Financial Services organization such as Alfresco,FileNet, CMOD, and OnBase.
Comfortablenavigating large corporate structure to ensure timely delivery of projects
RequiredBachelor's degree in Software Engineering,Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related discipline
PreferredMaster's degree in Software Engineering,Computer Science or related discipline
