Manager of Engineering (Scala, Clojure, JavaScript)

A mission driven company located in the Loop is looking to spin off from the parent company into their own start up and is looking for a Manager of Engineering to build a team in Chicago. The company manufactures its own product and donates 50% of sales to foundations that support people with special needs. They are looking for someone that has start up experience and has strong functional programming experience with either Scala or preferably Clojure. They are looking to build a team of 5 engineers around this person and scale the company at a healthy rate.
