We are looking for an individual with broad experience developing Project and Resource Management systems. Experience in Learning Management Systems is a plus. Expertise in the complete Software Development Lifecycle is required. The individual will help craft the future of the Pharmaceutical R&D Project Management Organization from a technology perspective as a member of the multi-year PMO Evolution initiative. The PMO Evolution initiative seeks to bring the vital tools and processes to the organization to allow the PMO to transition from an operational to a key strategic decision-making partner in the drug development process. To achieve this, we are implementing advanced and emerging technologies including machine learning, natural language chatbots, advanced analytics and augmented reality. In addition, the individual will also manage the IT relationship with our Learning Systems Solution team. Our team also is responsible for the operations and support of our systems and the candidate will assist in assuring our systems meet the needs of our business partners. He or she should have an aptitude and strong desire for learning new technologies, multitask effectively and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. He or she should be self-motivated and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Lastly, he or she should have strong written and verbal communication skills to perform this role. Key

Responsibilities

- A key member in PMO Evolution workstreams and projects
- Delivery of technology solutions for our business partners
- Manage Learning Systems Solutions relationship with our business partners and its development projects
- Provide oversight of our systems from a support and operational perspective
- Ensure compliance with Software Development Life Cycle
- Manage development teams and projects including requirements, project plans and design
- Explore emerging technology, working closely with business to identify pilot cases

Qualifications

- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required. An advanced degree in is preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of IT experience in the information technology including SDLC processes
- Experience with Project Planning and Resource Management systems
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Experience with some or all the following technologies
- Microsoft .Net
- Angular
- Cloud Technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google
- Planisware
- Machine learning
- Advanced Analytics
- Augmented Reality
- Ability to quickly learn and assess new and emerging technologies
- Must have good planning, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Works independently with minimal direction as well as part of a group
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate to all levels of management as well as end users
- Proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Power.
