GDIT is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join our team. Contract requires US Citizenship and candidate must have an active TS/SCI security clearance. Employ software development techniques and methodologies for solving tough analytical challenges in support of one of our nation's premier law enforcement entitiesUse software development skills to automate manual analytical processesOpportunity to expand upon beyond specializations to include front end user interfaces, back end microservices, web services, cloud architectures, as well as databases and other persistent data storesProvide technical expertise to support migration of applications and data sets to the cloudDeploy developed IT solutions, user applications, databases and other IT capabilitiesDesign and develop specialized user solutions, applications and databases using a hybrid Agile approach within a DevOps environmentProvide Tier 3 technical support for deployed applications and databasesKnowledge of code versioning tools such as GitExperience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notificationsMaintain code integrity and organizationCollaborate with the rest of engineering team to design and launch new featuresKeen interest in learning and using the latest software tools, methods, and technologies to solve real world problem sets vital to national security

Qualifications

Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibilityBachelor’s degree and four (4) years of relevant experience.experience, or a Ph. D. degree in a related discipline, and two (2) to five (5) years of progressive experience. Understanding of cloud architectures and enabling tools and technologies, such as, AWS Cloud (GovCloud/C2S), Azure CloudFamiliar with Amazon Web Managed Services (AWS), Hadoop Big Data and cross domain data servicesProficient experience utilizing Javascript, Angular, React, Node.js, MongoDB, JSON, XMLHigh experience level with back-end programming languages (Java/Spring, C#, Python)Working knowledge with software platforms and services, such as, Docker, Kubernetes, SQS/SNS, Kafka, , AWS Lambda, NiFi, SSIS, SSRSWorking knowledge with datastores –  MongoDB, DynamoDB, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, S3, Redshift, Redis, Elasticsearch, HDFS, AccumuloFamiliar with technologies jQuery, ASP/.Net, NoSQL, PL/SQL, LDAP, HTTP, REST/SOAP, RDBMSWorking knowledge with latest Integrated Development Environments (IDE’s)Familiar with Configuration Management and CI Tools, such as, Git/Gitlab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven, Ansible, ChefWorking knowledge with public keys and digital certificatesFamiliar with Linux/Unix server environmentsExperience with Agile development methodologyExperience with automated testing patterns and tools, such as, Mocha/Chai, JUnit, NUnit, TestNGWorking knowledge with Collaboration tools, such as, Jira and ConfluenceDesired

Qualifications

Direct Experience with DHS and Intelligence Community (IC) component's data architectures and environmentsOne or more of the following certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II, ITIL, AWS Associate or Professional Solution ArchitectMaster’s Degree in Computer Science or related fieldExperience with DevOps environmentsExpertise in various COTS, GOTS, and open source tools which support development of data integration and  visualization applicationsExperience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notificationsSpecialization in Object Oriented Programming languages, scripting, and databasesFamiliar with Python, Groovy, Shell Script Scheduled Weekly Hours:40Travel
