Responsibilities

All aspects of the standard system development life cycle (SDLC) are in the scope of this role, such as problem analysis, functional design, technical design, code development, unit testing, integration testing and documentation. This role will have close interactions with IT project managers, business analysts and test engineers, and will have direct communications with users and with key business stakeholders. The role will also involve interactions with other IT groups such as architecture, solutions design and the program management office. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are a requirement. Perform design and Code review activities with team. Develop and execute unit, systems integration, and user-acceptance test plans. Prepare and test Operations Instructions for developed programs and systems. Agile and waterfall methodologies are both used, depending on the project type. Small projects will be self-managed, with larger projects being run by a project manager. Provide unsolicited suggestions for enhancements of functional effectiveness and technical efficiencies. Provide second level support to fix the issues with system. Maintain and resolve code problems on both a scheduled and on-call basis. Assist in achieving the HTAS goals to drive Operational Excellence with focus on Patient and Consumer experience, quality development for Standardization projects. Experience in an Agile environment with SCRUMDaily Standup Calls to assist in rapid modernization of the application.

Qualifications

Education

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent Work Experience 8+ years professional experience in software development using Inter
Systems Cach technologies such as Cach Object
Script, Cache Objects, WebLink Developer, Cache SQL 3+ years professional experience in software development using Angular
Google Material Experience of working in a regulatory compliant environment with the associated attention to detail. Physical and Mental Ability to multi-task, Analytical skills, Ability to follow verbal or written instructions, Thinking analytically, Communication, Using effective verbal communication, Using effective written communication, Handling stress emotions, Concentrating on tasks, Making decisions, Adjusting to change, Examiningobserving details, Sitting for long periods at a time Other Demonstrable competence in XML, XSL, SOAP, Web Services, HTML, Java
Script, JSON, CSS, JQuery Expertise in designing modern web applications based on REST and Angular. Excellent customer service, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills. Ability to develop highly efficient code and ability to analyze the latency issues and to optimize them. Strong understanding of information systems concepts, applicable methodologies, tools, standards and procedures. Experience with clinical laboratory systems or healthcare information systems. Have contributed substantially to the deployment of applications to Apache, Cache servers on various operating systems. Ability to provide high quality, timely support to a mission-critical application. Knowledge of HL7 and ICD-10 would be advantageous
