C# OMS Developer

Major Responsibilities/Activities
-Develop and maintain applications around the firm's Order Management System (Eze Castle)
-Translate requirements into full-fledged applications and processes
-Take projects through the full software development life cycle when needed
-Collaborate with members of the Front Office and Back Office development teams on joint initiatives
-Ensure deadlines are being met
-Motivate, guide, and mentor junior developers
-Enforce development standards and conduct code reviews

Minimum Requirements
-Strong understanding of Order Management Systems, preferably Eze Castle
-5+ years of hands on programming experience with an understanding of Object Oriented Programming, Design patterns, Service Oriented Architecture, Concurrency, and SOLID principles
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
-5+ years of experience with .NET (WPF, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, REST) using C# and JQuery/Angular
-5+ years of experience with SQL Server, TSQL, and database design
-Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and provide resolutions
-Excellent communication skills
-Strong listening, analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Recent experience in an Asset Management Firm or Hedge Fund
-Knowledge of publicly traded asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income, etc.)
-Knowledge of portfolio management process (Positions, weights, benchmarks, etc.)

Beneficial Skills
-Microservices architecture
-Frameworks: Nancy, MEF, Dapper, LINQ, Bootstrap, Telerik controls (Kendo)
-Knowledge of DevOps, GIT, and Agile Methodology
