C# Dev/Manager SE/ AWS-Denver/Full Time

Great benes, from Memorial Day to Labor Day they have every other Friday off. Paid week off between Christmas and New Years At a high level this is a working manager position. The candidate will be expected to write code 60-70 of the time and organize manage the remainder. They will have to pass the same technical interview process as a senior software engineer, including a coding exercise. It will require a candidate with strong C, AWS and Angular knowledge and experience. From a management perspective, they will be required to run their scrum meetings (sprint planning, retro, and daily standup). Planning the sprint, defining the work to be done and helping make longer term roadmap tradeoffs will be necessary. open to first time managers as long as they have strong experience as a team lead. The technical requirements and soft skills like passion, energy, and enthusiasm are the leading factors in his decision process. -This is a brand new manager position. Will have 3 people who report in to him -This is a WORKING manager position. They will need to pass the Senior Developer tech screen. 60-70 of work will be writing code. Code is written in C (backend), and Angular (front end) as well as AWS and SQL -Will have HR responsibilities. Has 3 people that will report in to them. Agile environment, Scrum, planning, daily stand ups -This team delivers a ton of media (10,000 videos a month) Their client is internal and has about 20 users. Will work with this team to gather requirements, understand the business. It is content pipeline which is a very complex project mostly around ingest What Mike will look for 1. A C Developer who has been a cloud architect in AWS. MUST be strong in AWS. Must know the technology and the architecture for the cloud 2. Could be a team lead who is wanting to take the next step in to becoming a manager. Needs to be used to writing code 3. Has to have good soft skills ndash a personality, passion for technology (howwhy) you do things, great people skills, energetic, drive to deliver, responsible, LOTS of drive. Responsibilities bull Drive day to day priorities for the development team bull Work closely with business partners to plan longer term projects bull Use data driven decision making to monitor and enhance performance of the team bull Troubleshoot production issues in support of the business bull Work closely with other teams to ensure on-time consistent delivery of the software platform bull Set the standards for the team and ensure they are followed Experience Skills bull Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field bull 5 years of professional software development experience in C bull 1 year of experience as a team lead or Manager bull Experience building scalable systemsapplications from conception through successful delivery to customers bull Experience with professional software engineering best practices such as Agile project management, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations bull Current certification or demonstrable experience with AWS bull Experience in a CICD pipeline bull Deep knowledge and experience with .net core in Docker bull Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English bull Experience with Git and the GitFlow branching pattern
